Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Roadway, Intersection, and Streetscape Infrastructure Projects The CONSULTANT is expected to be capable of providing design services on roadway and streetscape projects including major urban arterials and collector street improvements, downtown corridor improvements, rural road improvements, intersection improvements, and sidewalk and streetscape improvements. As common with most roadway improvement projects, the CONSULTANT is expected to be proficient in the analysis and design of related water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater drainage distribution systems and appurtenant structures.; B. Bridge and Building Structural Projects The CONSULTANT is expected to be capable of providing design and construction engineering and administration services on bridge and building structure projects including design for the rehabilitation and/or replacement of bridge structures, related geotechnical engineering, major culvert crossings, existing bridge structure component replacement, building structural assessment, design of building structural repairs, and new structure construction. The CONSULTANT is expected to be proficient in stream crossing and bridge environmental permitting as well as current building and fire code requirements.; C. Stormwater, Dam, and Water Quality Infrastructure Projects The CONSULTANT is expected to be capable of providing design services on stormwater, dam, and water quality infrastructure improvement projects including storm drain and culvert pipe assessments, drainage system replacement, pond and stream bank restoration projects, dam inspection, assessment, and renovation and/or replacement. The CONSULTANT should be proficient in stormwater and hydrologic modeling and drainage analysis and environmental permitting. ; D. Parks, Open Spaces, and General Infrastructure Projects The CONSULTANT is expected to be capable of providing design services on a number of park and open spaces projects including recreation master planning, park facility master planning, park and sports facility design, open space planning, passive park and recreation uses, and related general infrastructure improvements. As common with most park projects, the CONSULTANT is expected to be proficient in the analysis and design of related water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater drainage distribution systems, and appurtenant structures.
