Specifications include, but are not limited to: B. MAINTENANCE ACTIONS 1) Contractor shall not perform modifications to aircraft or installed equipment without prior written authorization from the OAO. If the OAO determines that the Contractor has performed an unauthorized modification, then the OAO retains the authority to direct the Contractor to return the aircraft and/or equipment to its original condition or have another facility perform the repairs at the expense of the Contractor. In any event, the Contractor shall be liable for all costs associated with unauthorized repairs including reimbursement for the original unauthorized modification.; 2) Any damage caused to the aircraft or its components through neglect or negligence by Contractor or its employees shall be reported immediately to the OAO and shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor. The OAO shall retain aviation maintenance incident investigative authority; however, the OAO may request assistance from the Contractor during the course of any investigation.; 3) For all work performed under this contract, the Contractor shall provide a written estimate of labor, parts, and time required to complete the specified repairs. No work shall be done, or parts supplied in excess of, or different from, the original written estimate without a prior written approval from the OAO. Should Contractor continue to work without the additional required authorization, CHP is released from any and all obligation to pay any amount exceeding the original estimate.; C. MAINTENANCE AT CONTRACTOR’S FACILITY The aircraft shall be kept in a secure hangar. Contractor shall be responsible for the security of the aircraft, and all equipment on the aircraft, while in their possession. If any work that is subcontracted on the aircraft, requires the aircraft to be housed at the subcontractor, the Contractor will retain responsibility for the proper security of the aircraft and equipment while in the subcontractor’s care.; F. AIRCRAFT CERTIFICATION 1) The airplane shall meet the airworthiness requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and shall meet all the requirements specified in Type Certificate Data Sheet NO. A24CE. The airplane must have a standard airworthiness certificate issued by the FAA at the time it is accepted by the CHP after all repair, installation, overhaul, and paint is completed as described herein.; 2) All required phase inspections and AD’s shall be current at the time of delivery. All engine, airframe, and propeller Time Between Overhaul (TBO) items shall be rectified and made current at time of aircraft delivery to CHP.; 3) The airplane must be certified for day and night visual flight rules.; G. INTERIOR 1) Aircraft shall be equipped with a Gogo AVANCE L3 or equivalent per King Air 200 Supplemental Type Certificate. The system will need to support applications such as Virtual Private Network (VPN), e-mail, telephone, and internet browsing.; 2) The existing avionics package shall be replaced with the Garmin G1000NXI Integrated Avionics System or equivalent per King Air 200 Supplemental Type Certificate and any software to allow the use of the electronic chart feature, the graphical weather function, and the enhanced map overlay function to match the most current Garmin G1000NXI system compatible with our aircraft (S/N BC57).; 3) All floor plans, layouts, design/production drawings, fabric and color recommendations will be submitted to the Customer for approval. The Customer must approve the interior configuration prior to the commencement of work.
