Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work on the sanitary sewer and storm drain collection systems shall include but not be limited to the installation of new 8-inch to 15-Inch diameter sanitary sewer and storm drain pipe, the abandonment or removal and replacement of manholes, constructing new manholes, sanitary sewer service lateral connections, abandonment of existing sewer mains, removal and replacement of storm drain catch basins, surface improvements, utility adjustments, bypass pumping, traffic control and all miscellaneous and incidental work necessary to complete the project as specified. The project areas include Humboldt Street, Lander Street, California Avenue, Marsh Avenue, St. Lawrence Avenue, Reno Avenue, S. Arlington Avenue, Cove Place, and various alleyways. The scope of work shall be completed utilizing conventional open trench pipe installation methods identified in the Improvement Plans and these Specifications. The street rehabilitation shall include, but is not limited to, grading, temporary and permanent pavement patching, grind and overlay, section reconstruction with removal of existing materials, placement of new asphalt and base, curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, alleyways, pedestrian ramps, pavement striping, provisions for traffic control for the duration of the project, root excavation and pruning, steel plate installation, installation of signage, and other miscellaneous work as outline in the Improvement Plans, the Specifications, and these General Provisions.
