Specifications include, but are not limited to: The liquid handling system will include liquid handling instrumentation and computer hardware and software that will integrate with GCL’s existing laboratory to perform DNA eluate transfers and dilutions and replicate plating, SNP genotyping via Applied Biosystems’ Taqman SNP genotyping assays using Fluidigm’s integrated fluidic circuits (IFCs) and Next Generation Sequencing SNP Library preparation. The system must be capable of independent, hands-off operation during the run of a liquid handling program, allowing the operator to prepare supplies for following runs. Bid will also include hands-on training for performing all of the processes named above and telephone and on-site support.
