Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Overview o Contractor to provide stripping, scrubbing, and the re-coating floor services for the Crew Quarters. o In the Spring, (April) floors will be scrubbed, (no stripping) and two (2) coats of finish applied to all areas, offices, and both restrooms and storage areas, if open. o In the Fall (October) floors will be stripped, scrubbed and four (four) coats of finished to be applied to all areas, offices, and both restrooms and storage areas, if open. ▪ In the Fall of 2021, Hancock Crew Quarters will be stripped, scrubbed and four (4) coats of finish to be applied to all areas, offices, and both restrooms and storage areas if open. o (this is the first time Hancock will be stripped, scrubbed, and finished) • MaineDOT will make every attempt to have everything up off the floors and put away. tables and chairs may need to be moved. o Access will be given over the weekend, starting Friday evening after 7pm., and all work should be completed by Sunday at midnight to allow drying time. • A contact person will be available for any problems that may arise while on site.
