Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1.1.1. Undertake the collection of unpaid debt including but not limited to: administrative or civil penalties and any interest and related costs and expenses, unpaid operating fees, and unpaid permit, license, delinquent loans, or registration fees that are referred to the Contractor. 1.1.1.2. Perform collection activities through any and all legal procedures and remedies available to State agencies including but not limited to: demanding payment of each collection item and/or seeking an arrangement satisfactory to the State in which the collection item will be paid, filing civil action in any Superior Court, filing liens, obtaining renewal of judgments, participating in bankruptcy proceedings, or instituting foreclosure proceedings, trustee process, execution, insurance coverage, bonds, attachments, and receiverships. 1.1.1.3. Maintain appropriate records, including financial records that can be audited. 1.1.1.4. Provide quarterly reports to the State for cases assigned. The report shall include but is not limited to: a description of the collection action(s) taken in each case during the previous reporting period, amounts collected if any, case status since the previous reporting period, and anticipated next steps in the next successive period if any.
