Specifications include, but are not limited to: The outcome of the evaluation and design process will be: Public and VDEC staff involvement during preliminary design phase An assessment of environmental constraints including soils/geotechnic suitability, river corridors, FEMA floodplains, and protected wetlands An assessment of infrastructural constraints including existing storm drain infrastructure, wastewater infrastructure, property boundaries, and utilities Refined hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to size the stormwater treatment area and capacity Selection of a preferred stormwater treatment practice Clear, written documentation of project issues and overall feasibility. Preliminary 30% designs and correspondence with VDEC prior to development of final 100% designs Final 100% designs with construction bid package and approved required permits
