Specifications include, but are not limited to: ACSO is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to develop its options for purchasing a key management system that will be utilized in the Ada County Jail for the tracking and management of key sets. While the primary focus is a key management system, ACSO is also interested in the ability to track various equipment such as radios and tasers. With the solution, ACSO expects to achieve the following goals: 1. Improve efficiency and tracking of key sets handed out to staff arriving on shift and those returned by staff coming off shift 2. Decrease workload of security control staff 3. Streamline process of checking key sets in and out 4. Provide real-time information on which individuals have which key sets 5. Increase reliability of accounting for issuance and return of keys 6. Ability to view history of which individuals were in control of which key sets during a certain time frame
