Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is looking for full-service mattress and box spring recycling. The bidder shall provide all personnel, equipment, and materials to process the materials collected at the District facilities and shall be responsible for all costs associated with performing the service. The District will transport the mattress in a container and dump it at the processing facility. No material handling will be completed by the District staff once dumped. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and other resources for the processing of the recyclable materials. The contractor will provide a cost breakdown per the attached Appendix A Bid Sheet. The contractor is responsible for all costs associated with the proceeds and disposals of the mattress and box spring process. The District will require biannual reporting (May and October) on the quantity of received of mattresses and box springs, % diversion of materials, and volume of landfill material generated. The contractor shall assume liability for all applicable local, state, and federal laws including but not limited to processing of the mattresses and box springs and any applicable laws governing the processing of those materials.; Single mattress 1-125 per month; Single mattress 125 or more per month ; Single box spring 1-125 per month; Single box spring 125 or more per month Full mattress 1-125 per month
