Specifications include, but are not limited to: replacement of the existing Trane chiller with a new 60-ton High Efficiency Trane Chiller or equivalent. Conditions on the selection of the chiller are based off the existing chiller for air-conditioning the building. Evaporator leaving temperature of 44 degrees and 57 degree entering temperature. Low ambient down to 0 degrees, and 410a refrigerant. The following items are to be included in the bid: reclamation of the R-22 refrigerant to be stored in reclaim drums and to become the property of the City of Milbank; removal and disposal of the existing chiller; setting of the new chiller including crane fees; new copper pipe outdoors to connect to the new chiller; new vibration eliminators; new butterfly isolation valves; new gauges, temperature sensors, and wells; flanges needed for butterfly valves and chiller evaporator connections; temperature and pressure gauges; wells and saddle clamps needed for sensors and pressure gauges; bracketing materials for piping; new insulation and PVC wrap to protect the insulation from weather as needed; control integration and bracket connection to the chiller; labor and freight.
