Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Web training and onboarding instruction will occur prior to remote work assignment. 2. Ability to provide backup coverage on an as needed and supplemental (night, weekend, holiday) basis as specified in minimum requirements. 3. Proof of continuing education (coding and HIPAA training), coding credentials maintenance, and Action Plan assignment to include follow-up where required. 4. Coding contractor will be responsible for correcting his or her coding errors and edits at no additional cost to University Health. 5. Please provide individual per chart coding costs for each type of medical record. 6. University Health’s Daily Productivity Standard adjusted to number of hours worked: • Outpatient – 20 per hour, • Inpatient – 3 to 4 charts per hour. • Outpatient surgery and Observation- 5 charts per hour.
