Specifications include, but are not limited to: THE ELKO COUNTY LIBRARY is requesting proposals for an E-rate eligible Category Two network cabling project. Quantities requested are the applicant’s best estimate and may be adjusted as recommended by the offeror. The applicant and bidders have the right to increase or reduce quantities of cable runs, drops, etc. Offerors are requested to provide all costs necessary to remove and replace all existing network cabling, drops, patch panel, wall jacks, etc. in the Elko County Library. The library currently has approximately 48 existing network drops. Proposals may include a unit cost per drop to account for any uncounted network drops or additional new drops the library identifies are needed. Proposals should include the removal of all existing cabling in need of replacement. The library does have a drop-ceiling for ease of access. At minimum, the library is seeking a new 48-port patch panel, replacement jacks, all necessary patch cables, connectors, and Cat 6 cabling, as well as all labor and professional services.
