Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide the necessary professional staff or sub-consultants required to support the design including, but not limited to: Architectural Services, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, elevator systems if required, landscaping, traffic study/impacts, and all other related design elements for the project. • Develop and prepare the Educational Specifications of the new building in consultation with NCCVT staff. Submittal of the Educational Specifications to the Department of Education for review and approval. • Consulting with key NCCVT staff to refine project/program requirements and key design considerations prior to the preparation of schematic design documents. This includes meeting with all of the CTE teachers to discuss their ideal and acceptable learning environments. Submittal of Schematic Designs to the NCCVT Board of Education and to the Department of Education for review and approval. • The preparation of conceptual design plans to include architectural elevations, ingress and egress, and site plans to demonstrate interaction of the existing facility with pedestrian crosswalks, surface parking, and surrounding operations. Meet with NCCVT staff to review and revise conceptual drawings as directed. Submittal of Conceptual design plans the NCCVT Board of Education and to the Department of Education for review and approval
