Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Parks and Recreation, has a need to purchase a pontoon boat for inland non-navigable waterway recreational and educational tours of Trap Pond, and the upstream area of the cypress swamp. Trap Pond is a shallow 100 acres with about 3/8 of a mile of channel into the cypress swamp pond inside Trap Pond State Park that highlights the northernmost point on the east coast for bald cypress trees. This pontoon boat will be used for tours that consist of mixed public, private groups, and public-school groups from about mid-April through early November. This pontoon boat shall meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. The Division reserves the right to purchase additional boats from this Contract for other Delaware State parks during the term of this contract.
