Specifications include, but are not limited to: Phase 1: Village Garage Assessment and Rehabilitation Cost Estimate Task A: Identify the sources of moisture in the Village Garage, including building deficiencies and site conditions contributing to moisture. To complete this task, the Village anticipates site investigation and/or testing will be necessary, such as excavation to determine the presence of water under the building foundation or elsewhere on the site that is affecting the building. It shall be the responsibility of the engineer to obtain any and all permits or regulatory permissions needed to complete the testing and investigation of the building and site.; Task B: Develop an itemized cost estimate to complete the needed steps to eliminate all sources of moisture in the building and completely de-water the building and site, including building improvements and any necessary site improvements.; Task C: Offer a professional opinion regarding the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of completing the work included in Task B.; Phase 2: Develop a Detailed Cost Estimate and Timeline to Fully Remediate and Rehabilitate the Existing Village Garage Task A: Develop an itemized cost estimate to remediate the mold in the Village Garage and to return the building to a safe and usable condition using the existing building footprint and as much of the existing building as can be salvaged. To the extent additional engineering and architectural services will be needed, please include those costs.; Task B: Develop a timeline for the remediation and rehabilitation project that encompasses the full breadth of the project, from engineering/architecture to permitting to construction.
