Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 A mobile platform for publishing, maintaining, and hosting the application ; 2.2 Functional on both iOS and Android systems ; 2.3 Provides both offline and online capabilities ; 2.4 Georeferenced PDF maps so users can see their location on a PDF map while out in the parks. ; 2.5 A social component for visitors to post about their experience. ; 2.6 The ability for State Parks staff to be able to post alerts and notifications to visitors. ; 2.7 The ability to promote events to attract more users to recreational resources. ; 2.8 The ability to report issues, contribute back, and share with friends while outside in the parks.; 2.9 Transit, biking, walking, ridesharing, and driving directions to State-owned trailheads, parking lots, visitor centers, and other recreation destinations. ; 2.10 The app should present official and authoritative content directly from Nevada State Parks. ; 2.11 The ability for visitors to bookmark their favorite locations. ; 2.12 The ability for visitors to share locations and activities in the app with their friends and family via a social share feature. ; 2.13 The ability for State Parks staff to generate and publish deep links and QR codes.
