Specifications include, but are not limited to: APPENDIX "A" Services to be furnished by CONSULTANT: A. The CONSULTANT shall be responsible for performing the following: The CONSULTANT shall perform hydrology and hydraulics for various projects as assigned. The work may require surveying for some types of projects. The CONSULTANT shall gather all of the necessary information required to complete each project. If the project requires a DNR Construction in a Floodway permit, the CONSULTANT may be requested to prepare all necessary documentation to be submitted in accordance with the DNR General Guidelines for the Hydrologic-Hydraulic Assessment of Floodplains in Indiana. The CONSULTANT may be requested to provide embedded staff. B. The CONSULTANT shall perform the work in accordance with the INDOT Design Manual and all appropriate regulations and requirements of the Indiana Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration. C. The CONSULTANT shall prepare a Hydraulics Report for each project. The report shall include documentation of the hydrology and hydraulics techniques used, justification of selected parameters, and electronic copies of the input and output for any computer models used. The CONSULTANT shall set up and hold meetings, when needed, in cooperation with INDOT, with local officials, planning agencies or commissions, and regulatory agencies. The CONSULTANT shall have the CONSULTANT's project design engineer attend and participate in any such meetings, prepare and distribute minutes of such meetings, and prepare letters in response to all questions.
