Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Must be electric powered, not manual operation; b.Must have an enclosed destruction chamber for crushing of media; c.A large distruction chamber required for disks with rails and handles; d.must be capable of destroying server,desktop and laptop disk drives; regardless of size ,format or type; e.Destruction time of under 20 seconds; f.Must be listed on the NSA/CSS Evaluated Products List (EPL); g.Must be able to apply at a minimum 10,500 pounds of force to bend ,break and mangle hard drives including data storage platters at the push of a button.; h.Must be safe by providing a door lockout system; i. Does not require any additional software; j.Does not leverage hydraulics or any other fluids
