Specifications include, but are not limited to: The South Dakota Department of Health (SDDOH), Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Tobacco Control Program (TCP) is soliciting proposals for the provision of tobacco prevention and support for chronic disease prevention and health promotion programming in specific geographicregions of the state. Services to be provided are to be consistent with the program goals to (1)Prevent initiation among youth and young adults, (2) Promote quitting among adults and youth, (3) Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke and (4) Identify and eliminate tobacco-related disparities among population groups. The TCP has four (4) Tobacco Prevention Coordinators, which are located regionally within the state; central, northeast, southeast, and western. Vendors are able to select one (1) or multiple of the four (4) regions to serve.
