Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Parkersburg is taking a phased approach to replacing existing joint sealant between panels of the Parkersburg Floodwall. Phase 1 was let in July 2021 and has been completed. This contract shall act as Phase 2 of the joint sealant replacement. Contractor shall repair X linear feet of joint sealant for a fixed price of $225,000.00. Contractor shall continue joint sealing to the North of the last panel repaired during Phase 1 (near Point Park/2nd Street gate closure) and perform continuous repairs until X linear feet of joint repair has been performed. Joint sealant is to be replaced full-height of wall, both sides and top, following the attached specification provided by the US Army Corp of Engineers (“Standard Operating Procedure for Repair of Monolith Joint Material”). Note: The floodwall height varies by location. Thus, this “X” value is a measurement of the sum of actual joint lengths between each floodwall panel, NOT a measurement parallel to the floodwall itself.
