Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified consultants to provide professional engineering on-call consultant services specializing in engineering review of private development projects and right-of-way permit reviews for the Department of Engineering. The required on-call consultant services for Development Plan Review and Right-of-Way Permit Review are anticipated to include the following tasks: Engineering Review of projects applying for Improvement Location Permits (ILPs), Subdivision Improvement Permits (SIPs), and other related permits focusing on, but not limited to the following: Review of various private development applications such as residential subdivisions, commercial projects, use permits, lot line adjustments, and grading permits to determine the impact of the proposed development on City facilities including streets, drainage, sanitary sewer system, grading, parking, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, and floodplain/floodway issues. Review of private development improvement plans for technical correctness and conformance with general engineering principals, state law, City Code and Standards, and conditions of approval. Review Improvement Plans for public streets, utilities, and similar facilities.
