Specifications include, but are not limited to: This work shall include furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to complete the project Red Mountain Distribution Line Upgrade as described in the specifications and shown on the exhibit. Work includesthe upgrade of the existing distribution system pole line from 4kV to 12kV, changing from a Delta configuration to a Y configuration, adding a neutral line and OPGW, from Boulder City Parkway, near Katzenbach Drive, to Red Mountain as shown on the attached exhibit “Red Mountain Distribution Line Upgrade”. The project is approximately 13,255 lineal feet and involves 74 poles. The Contractor shall supply all materials, labor and equipment. The work also includes replacement of cross arms and the addition of a new 2/0 Neutral line and 48 count OPGW line (OPGW shall be supplied by the City for installation by the Contractor). There are some new cross arms already existing along the pole line that the Contractor shall reuse in the field. The project also includes replacement of up to 25 existing poles with new poles. Actual pole replacements and locations shall be determined in the field during construction. The Contactor shall provide splice boxes in three (3) underground vaults and one pole mounted splice box at the locations shown on the exhibit. Actual locations shall be determined in the field.
