Specifications include, but are not limited to: assessment including recommendations for changes for the Public Relations Department and functions. The assessment would include but not be limited to the scope and goals of the PR department and function, the effectiveness of day-to-day operations, procedures and processes, workload and staffing, budget, performance metrics, and organizational structure. SCF is requesting a report to include a summary, evaluation, recommendations for changes or adjustments, identification of strengths based on best practices or models within other health care organizations or other organizations. DELIVERABLES 1. Conduct a current state assessment by reviewing the SCF Public Relations and Corporate Communications Department internal and external work processes, services provided, communication tools, and workflows including the following: o Review the scope of services provided by the PR function. o Review the quality and effectiveness of PR services and products. o Review department functions within the organization including but not limited to: ▪ Web design and management ▪ Social media management ▪ Media relations ▪ Corporate events ▪ Site visit coordination ▪ Photography ▪ Corporate communications ▪ Advertising including media buy process ▪ Digital content management ▪ Award nominations ▪ Newsletter ▪ Board report ▪ Branding ▪ Review and approval process for print material ▪ Video production (new to department) ▪ Graphic design ▪ PR Store ▪ Department event support ▪ Communication tool effectiveness ▪ Crisis communication response and processes ▪ Community event support
