Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1 Mobilization, site cleanup: This will include the costs of mobilization of the contractor and site cleanup. 2 Cold Planning (milling): The roads to be cold planned to a depth of 1.5” on the average included the following roads: • Sunset Rock Road • Jenkins Road • Dorset Lane • Riverside Drive Figures 1 and 2 attached provide the roadway locations and limits of work for each roadway. This work shall be performed after the structures that will be in line with the main paving screed have been lowered. This work shall include the following: 1. Milling 2. Trucking and proper disposal of the millings 3. Sweeping 4. Coordination of flagging 3 Asphalt Pavement (shim or overlay): The road shall be swept clean prior to paving. Flagging shall be included as part of the paving cost. A tack coat of RS-1 emulsion shall be applied at the rate of 0.02 to 0.03 gallons/SY prior to the shim work or overlay onto existing pavement. The contractor shall use an application rate of 0.01 to 0.02 gallons/SY prior to installation of the top over a new shim, if applicable. The pavement shall be NH Type 3/8” mix or 1/2” mix.
