Specifications include, but are not limited to: A grant application for the American Rescue Plan Act’s Build Back Better Regional Challenge has been submitted by Missoula County to support the work of BSPRA. This grant is being offered and facilitated by the Economic Development Administration (EDA). Phase I Grant funds have been requested to assist BSPRA to complete the following tasks: 1) Strategically target and recruit stakeholders, advisors, essential local, regional, state, and federal partners, building inclusivity and financial capital; 2) Conduct a high-level preliminary route alternatives analysis that will allow BSRPA to focus resources into a more intensive planning/construction phase; and 3) Complete an in-depth socio-economic analysis of restored passenger rail service.
