Specifications include, but are not limited to: Year 1 – Task Order No. 1 • Contract Administration • Project Startup o Literature review and gap analysis o Prioritization and sequencing of chapter revisions • Identification of external resources to be incorporated/integrated by reference • Summary of laws, regulations, ordinances (and local design guides), and policies influencing hydraulic engineering in Alaska • Interviews with regional staff for input on the hydraulic engineering practice in Alaska • Submission of preliminary chapter revisions, outlines, and drafts • Summary report of Task Order No. 1 activities and accomplishments Year 2 – Task Order No. 2 • Contract Administration (continued) • Verification of the AASHTO HWRM organization and its status • Chapter revisions, refinements o Alaska-specific design guidance o Data resources, links, presentation o Regional practices, standard special provisions, unique details, drawings, etc. o Hydraulic modeling, incorporation of existing model review guidance o Coastal zone hydraulics (pending) • Distribution of subsequent drafts for review, adjudication of comments • Summary report of Task Order No. 2 activities and accomplishments
