Specifications include, but are not limited to: Furnish all materials, equipment and appurtenances required to provide an open channel, gravity flow, low pressure high intensity ultraviolet lamp (UV) disinfection system complete with an automatic mechanical/chemical cleaning system and variable output electronic ballasts. The UV system to be complete and operational with all control equipment and accessories as shown and specified herein. This system will be capable of disinfecting effluent to meet the water quality standards listed in this section. The ultraviolet disinfection system must be designed to be installed into the existing disinfection structures and be fully compatible with the channel sizing, depths and outlet weirs.
