Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Availability to do rapid testing (either Binax or new rapid PCR) as-needed for 8 to 12 hour shifts five (5) to seven (7) days per week. • Ability to create PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests. • Ability to distribute, perform, and collect PCR testing (among staff and inmates). • Transfer of PCR tests to laboratory. • Ability to document and report of Binax or new rapid PCR test results • Provide an estimate number of tests per week when doing twice-a-week testing. • On occasion, provide rapid visitor testing. • Services will be provided inside locked facilities (Intake Services Center, High Security, Maximum Security, Medium Security, Minimum Security, and Women’s Facility) as well as administration buildings (such as the Dix Building). • Test kit components will be provided by the RI Department of Corrections. • Vendor is responsible for personal protective equipment (PPE) for their staff.
