Specifications include, but are not limited to: Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security (DSHS) is seeking a vendor that has vehicle-type (truck) monitoring systems that use LIDAR analysis to identify and measure all vehicles on the roadway volumetrically. The monitoring system should also be capable of incorporating LIDAR measurements with computer vision capabilities to achieve utmost accuracy. Additionally, the system’s imaging technology should include at least three video cameras with 4K resolution and be capable of recording ultra-high-definition images and video from one source to produce highly effective images and videos to be used during court proceedings. The system must be capable of capturing all relevant data for the specified enforcement. The system must be portable, or capable of being moved from one location to another without much delay and/or labor. The system must have self-contained batteries and remote communications with a highly secure enclosure and should be considered safe at the roadside, per DelDOT.
