Specifications include, but are not limited to: The URI tennis court complex is approximately 55,000 square feet, consisting of 4 sectioned areas divided by fencing, with two tennis courts per section. The surface is constructed from bituminous asphalt, with an acrylic sealer/paint topcoat with tennis markings. Expansion joints within the asphalt traverse the complex and lie in areas under fencing and between courts. ; Using a high powered cleaning apparatus, thoroughly clean existing surface free of all algae, mold, dirt and any other foreign materials on courts. Use a Soft Wash solution to "Pre-Soak" court surface and loosen and kill the vegetation on the court. Once that is completed, thoroughly rinse and wash courts using a high pressure hot water system. ; Thoroughly clean all open cracks of existing vegetation and loose material prior to filling and sealing. Existing cracks at the expansion joint areas are approximately ¾” – 1” wide.
