Specifications include, but are not limited to:. Suicide Prevention Training and Technical Assistance Services Provide evidence-based Suicide prevention training, technical assistance, and capacity building to a diverse audience of Maine community members and professionals (such as medical and behavioral health providers, educators, youth-serving professionals, and community organizations, etc.), including: Basic Suicide prevention awareness, to increase understanding of the Warning Signs of Suicide, and initial response and intervention (approximately ten (10) trainings annually). Advanced Suicide prevention training, to increase understanding of Suicide risk and protective factors, Warning Signs, intervention, Safety Planning, and referral to appropriate care and services (approximately twenty (20) trainings annually).
