Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All timbers will be Douglas Fir # 2 or better. 2. All timbers must have no more than 19% moisture content. 3. The ends of all timbers will be square cut. 4. Minimum dimensions for the 16’ lengths shall be: 2.75” x 11.75” x 16’1”, maximum dimensions shall be: 3” x 12” x 16’1” 5. Minimum dimensions for the 14’ lengths shall be: 2.75” x 11.75” x 14’1”, maximum dimensions shall be: 3” x 12” x 14’1” 6. If surfacing is required to meet these dimensions, it shall be done on the heart side of the wood only. Any timbers surfaced on the bark side will be rejected. 7. Timber units must be stacked with 3.5” dunnage between each unit when delivered to final destination to allow for 3” thick forks to be used in offloading. 8. All items to be fully weather wrapped to provide protection from the elements.
