The project scope will involve the design, bid and construction for Inmate Room Renovation and HVAC Replacement at the Pierce Building at Yankton Community Work Center in Yankton, South Dakota, OSE # C2422--03X/SWMR. This project includes updating the inmate rooms, restrooms, locker room, control room, and staff area. Plumbing repairs are constant and ongoing throughout the building with cast iron very corroded piping. Some piping is exposed. Baseboard heating in the inmate rooms have inoperable valves. Door hardware is obsolete and door frames are corroded. Flooring throughout the building are different styles with possible 9” x 9” asbestos tile in some areas. Project also includes HVAC and plumbing replacement in the entire building.
