Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is publishing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish or expand current Transition Programs for Students between ages 18 and 21 with Disabilities in secondary education programs .The intent for this RFP is after completion of programming, secondary students with disabilities will enter their adult lives capable of self-advocacy with sufficient experience to make choices about workand career, being appropriately supported and living as independently as possible. This RFP will solicit proposals from South Dakota School Districts and/or Educational Cooperatives who want to establish or expand current Transition Programs.
