Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall perform an independent Peer Review of the PSHA. The peer review will include ongoing review and commentary as the PSHA progresses, and will include but is not limited to the following items: • Spatial definition of the contributing seismic sources. • The upper-bound earthquake magnitude identified for each source zone. • Earthquake recurrence parameters for each source zone based on statistical analysis of available earthquake data. • Selection of attenuation relations from the available published models. • Treatment of epistemic uncertainties in source modeling and parameter values using a Logic Tree framework. • Estimation of expected values of acceleration response spectra for the selected response periods (i.e., derivation of uniform hazard spectra – UHS).
