Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Description This work must consist of installing fire pull stations at each exit door and adequate smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the building. The fire alarm system must be installed so that it rings into the Charleston fire department. The work will also consist of updating the current fire suppression system located in the community room kitchen area so that it is connected to the newly installed fire alarm system. Electrical wiring work must be run to connect all fire pull stations to the main fire control panel. The smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors must be hard wired and connected to the main fire control panel. b. Bid must include a Honeywell IPA-60 cell dialer (or equal) c. Bid must include 2 Pad-100 Duct Detectors to be installed on the gym air- handling units. d. Bids must include (but not be limited to) as many the following parts required to meet the Fire Alarm Codes stated below in e, f, & g: • Smoke Detectors (min of 42) • Heat Detectors (min of 7) • Pull Stations (min of 11) • Horn Strobes (min of 37) • Strobes (min of 5) • Smoke/carbon dioxide detectors (min of 22) e. All sprinkler work shall be in accordance with NFPA 13 and WV State Fire Code.
