Specifications include, but are not limited to: Implement an Evidence-based Suicide prevention program in order to reduce Suicide deaths, Suicide attempts, and serious Suicidal ideation in Young Adults ages nineteen to twenty-four (19-24) who attend a State College/University. The awarded Bidder shall utilize an Evidence-based approach for Navigation Services to reduce the risk of Suicide for Young Adults by establishing caring connections with Young Adults, ensuring safety planning in the home and on Campus, and providing referrals to appropriate treatment resources, ongoing follow-up and support, and care coordination. In addition, Navigation Services will provide support and technical assistance for Campus faculty and staff, and support Campus initiatives focused on Suicide prevention. This project is being funding by a Garrett Lee Smith (GLS) Suicide Prevention Grants through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The funds are available through June 2024.
