Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Division seeks to contract with an agency to provide behavioral support services for youth aged 12 years of age or older who are at-risk of disruption from their foster home due to challenging behaviors and/or difficulty with coordinating multiple other mental health and behavioral health services. Bidders are expected to outline a proposed program minimally including the following components: • Consultative work with foster parents to strategize, develop, and implement a plan to proactively and reactively manage challenging youth behaviors • Plan to coordinate care with all community behavioral and mental health care providers already involved with the youth/family • Support for foster parents and youth to strengthen parenting skills, improve relationships, build partnerships with biological families as appropriate, develop community connections, and coordinate services if multiple agencies or support systems are in place (such as mental health services, school services, etc.) • Aids to provide in-home behavioral support to foster families
