Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Remove all existing roofing, insulation, related sheet metal flashing and accessories down to the existing vapor barrier. 2. Cut out the existing vapor barrier approximately a 3” wide strip at the deck to wall transition to expose the gap between the tectum deck and CMU wall. Fill all gaps with spray applied closed cell foam. 3. Note: DO NOT remove the existing vapor barrier in the field as this will damage the tectum deck. 4. Install specified fasteners per wind up-lift calculations; follow ASCE 7-10 through the existing vapor barrier and into the tectum deck. 5. Install spray foam around all roof penetration gaps between the deck and roof penetration including vents, drain pipes, plumbing etc. 6. Fully clean and wipe down the existing vapor barrier surface and prime with Garla Prime at the rate of .75 gal./100 sq. ft. 7. Fully adhere Vapor Barrier, 1 ply of HPR Tri-Base in Viking CAVR cold process vapor barrier adhesive extending a minimum 12” up the wall and orcurbs. 8. Replace all wood nailers at the perimeter with new fire treated lumber to match new insulation height. 9. Fully adhere two layers of Viking 4’x4’ x 2.2” polyisocyanurate insulation in Insul Lock foam adhesive. Total insulation and crickets R-Value to average more than R-25. 4’x8’ boards are not permitted.
