Specifications include, but are not limited to: Although SDWIS helps the bureau manage the information necessary to supervise public drinking water systems, the application is limited. SDWIS does not address all components of the various drinking water rules. Therefore, requiring the state to use “SDWIS interfacing applications,” which are additional software applications, that aid staff in determining whether water systems are complying with federal and state regulations. The project consists of creating/providing cloud-based applications that interact with SDWIS to manage sanitary surveys, Consumer Confidence Reports, water system monitoring requirements, and other tools as required to effectively assist the bureau in determining water system compliance. This anticipated project start/end date would be 1/1/2022-1/1/2027. The agencies responsible for administering this project are BSDW, NDEP, and DCNR.
