Specifications include, but are not limited to: A qualified communications consultant to develop a strategic communications and engagement plan to help achieve its strategic priorities and solidify support for its focused/responsive approach for the Sweatt v. Painter Interior Gallery and Entry and the Precursors—We are Texas East Mall Commemorative Spaces. With the goal of obtaining public engagement, education and acceptance of the final design solution, as well as gaining support from the external stakeholders and the UT Office of Executive Director of Campus Commemoration and Contextualization, the key elements of the plan should include, but are not limited to the following: 4.1.1 Development of marketing campaigns that reach targeted external communities at the local/state/national levels 4.1.2 Curation of various forms of communication content—i.e., digital/video content for project website, copy-editing/messaging, press releases, power point presentations, etc. All content language must be approved by the University. Spanish language capabilities are desirable. 4.1.3 Conducting focus groups or surveys to understand what kind of commemorative landscapes that would be of interest and draw the public to visit the UT campus specifically to visit 4.1.4 Conducting real-time surveys during public meetings/hearings 4.1.5 Attending regular design meetings with UT personnel, student, staff and faculty stakeholders, Precursors and other alumni
