Specifications include, but are not limited to: B. Contractor must respond to all calls for service within twenty-four (24) hours unless otherwise arranged with the office. C. Remove all debris and dispose of offsite. D. Contractor shall contact the On-Site Contact/designee to schedule an appointment for bi-annual/annual maintenance at least one (1) week in advance. E. First service shall be scheduled within thirty (30) days of the contract being executed. The second service should be scheduled six (6) months after the first service. F. Contractor shall check-in and check-out with the CHP On-Site Contact or designee upon each service call to provide verification that service has been provided. G. General Conditions A. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is in need of Vehicle Hoist Maintenance at CHP Hollister-Gilroy Area office located at 740 Renz Lane, Hollister-Gilroy, CA 95020. The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance services at Hollister-Gilroy Area office as per the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement. B. All maintenance performed shall be in compliance with the manufacturer’s operating specifications for all vehicle hoist equipment (make and model) for each location and meet all local and State Building Code requirements. I. Any damage caused to hoists or components through neglect or negligence by Contractor or its employees shall be the sole responsibility of Contractor to repair or replace equipment at no expense to CHP. J. CHP reserves the right to add equipment and delete equipment that has become obsolete without processing an amendment. Replaced equipment will be serviced at the bi-annual/annual maintenance rate specified herein. Contractor will be notified in writing if equipment has been added and/or deleted. 6. FIRST BI-ANNUAL MAINTENANCE; Contractor shall: A. Inspect lifting chains and components for deformation, wear or corrosion. B. Inspect all hydraulic components for leaks, deformation, wear or corrosion. C. Tighten all fasteners and hydraulic fittings as required. D. Ensure all O-Rings boss fittings, jam nuts, are tightened to 15 ft. pounds. E. Remove, reseal and reinstall any pipe fittings that are leaking. Use Unite Thread Sealant or equivalent on fitting threads. F. Inspect anchor conditions for any possible corrosion and inspect the floor for any signs of fatigue or fractures.
