Specifications include, but are not limited to: Area 1- Construct an approximate 700 sf addition to extend the front entrance towards E. Market Street. This addition allows for the construction of a vestibule and the renovation of the current lobby. The main benefits of this addition are to assist with temperature control in the lobby during times of high traffic volume entering and leaving the building, especially during extreme weather conditions, and to provide enhanced traffic flow in the lobby. • Area 2- Construct an approximate 2200 sf, two-story addition at the back of the building into the parking lot. This addition will extend the Holding Cell area on the first floor, provide an enclosed vehicle sallyport, and provide increased space on the second floor. • Area 3- Construct an approximate 2200 sf, two story addition to the right of the original Courthouse entrance on The Circle, extending off the southwest face of the building into the grass yard. This addition will allow for the expansion of the current interview rooms on the second floor and allow for them to be converted to non-contact visitation. In effect, the expansion/conversion of the interview rooms requires the addition to mainly be used for the relocation of the adjacent Jury Room.
