Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Goni Canyon Tank Rehabilitation Project consists of removing the existing coatings from the interior and exterior of the Goni Canyon Water Tank and re-painting the tank’s interior and exterior. The exterior of the water tank contains lead (lab sample reported 8.04 mg/kg) which may require hazardous material disposal. The project includes all common phases of construction customarily associated with this type of project. The tank is approximately 55 feet in diameter and approximately 24 feet tall. The area of 9,000 square feet listed in the bid summary is only an approximation of the total interior roof, wall and floor surface areas and does not include any additional square footage for beams and columns. Re-painting of the beams, columns and other items is included in the scope of work and shall be included in the contractors bid. Additional work also includes installing a LAD Safety Ladder System and Ladder Guard, installing a passive cathodic protection system, miscellaneous steel work including but not limited to installing additional handrail, removing the ladder cage, installing and removing bungs, installing anchor safety points, removing Unistrut, installing new vent screens, and installing brackets for conduit
