RESPONSE PLANNING: WILDLIFE RESPONSE PLAN: The awarded Contractor will assist IFW with reviewing and updating the Wildlife Response Plan relative to capturing, evaluating, stabilizing, transporting, cleaning, and rehabilitating oiled wildlife. The task may be completed remotely via email, conference calls, etc. It is anticipated that this will require approximately 20 hours of time. This will be done every other year. TRAINING: 1. CAPTURING/HANDLING OILED WILDLIFE: One, 8-hour day of awareness level classroom/field training annually for up to 60 IFW staff on capturing, evaluating, stabilizing, processing, and transporting oiled wildlife (dead and alive). Trainees will already have familiarity with general techniques for capturing and handling wildlife. The awarded Contractor is responsible for providing meals, perishable supplies, and training materials for participants. The State of Maine will provide the training facility and any necessary audio/visual equipment. Meals, travel and lodging for contractor staff will be arranged by contractor.
