The LAS R.I.M. elements of the proposed PROJECT are generally located along the Runways 1/19 complex and include: installation of above-ground / in-pavement runway guard lights, airfield striping, edge striping, and island painting, aligned taxiway reclamation, remarking of expansive Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement, grading and earthwork, new PCC and asphalt concrete pavement, minor manhole and pull box structures, and miscellaneous airfield electrical modifications. The rehabilitation components of the proposed PROJECT include: addressing joint seal failures, repairing joint seal failures, joint spalling, linear and corner cracking, localized PCC panel replacement, asphalt shoulder repairs, replacing inpavement lighting to Light Emitting Diode (LED), and updates to various taxiway directional signage nomenclature.
