Specifications include, but are not limited to: assist the City in the overall grant application and programmanagement/administrative services of itsWorkforce Training Center Construction Project; constructing a new Workforce Training Center (the “facility”) in Seguin, Texas to housepermanent operations for a new Texas Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (TX FAME) Chapterserving the City of Seguin and Guadalupe County. TX FAME is a partnership of regional manufacturers whosepurpose is to implement dual-track, apprenticeship-style training that will create a pipeline of highly skilledworkers. In addition, space within the facility will also be dedicated to local school districts in order to expandCareer and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. The facility will help strengthen the talent pipeline foradvanced manufacturing and other high-demand occupations, while also helping to ensure the long-termeconomic competitiveness for the City of Seguin and the surrounding region.
