Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractors to provide water damage remediation in the vehicle bay of the Animal Shelter. 1. Contractor shall remove and replace approximately 260-square-feet of water damaged sheetrock; remove the first 4’ of sheetrock, measuring up from the floor, sixty-five (65) lineal feet. Replacement sheetrock will be moisture rated and match existing thickness. Treat all damage, and related consequences from water damage, to the current industry standards and best practices. 2. Install white FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Panels) on the walls in the vehicle bay to 8’. Approximately sixty-five (65) lineal feet. Sheet rock shall be primed prior to installation of FRP. 3. Remove vehicle-washing equipment and provide to Animal Shelter Facility Maintenance Technician. a. Install hot and cold hose bib connection in that location, and match existing pipe insulation for new piping in all location. 4. Properly prepare walls by washing, filling voids, patch cracks, and prime with compatible primer for topcoat. Prep all walls according to manufacture requirements for approved Marine paint for the remaining sheetrock and ceiling in the vehicle bays. 5. Apply Polyurethane based sealer at the concrete/FRP interface prior to Black 6” rubber base installation for the entire vehicle bay area. 6. Caulk all edges of FRP.
