Specifications include, but are not limited to: The NHVH proposes to enter into an agreement with a Vendor to provide Laboratory services that includes globally-lab integration for receiving labs who can provide services on a 24/7 basis to include a phlebotomist and currier services. 1. Bids will only be considered from Bidders that have a minimum of three years of successful experience providing Laboratory services. The Bidder shall be required to demonstrate that they have successfully completed these type services for clients of the same size and magnitude for a minimum of three years. Failure to demonstrate this experience will be grounds for bid rejection. 2. Provide a variety of products to NHVH residents on an individual basis and bill their Medicare Part B or other insurance for these items. NHVH Residents are responsible for any charges not paid by insurance. 3. The Vendor shall use and disclose Protected Health Information in compliance with the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information (Privacy Rule) (45 CFR Parts 160 and 164) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. 4. Vendor will need to train NHVH employees on new lab services system(s) and process. At a minimum ten (10) NHVH staff require 2 hours of training each prior to implementation. The NHVH will train additional staff as needed following implementation. 5. Vendor is responsible to provide Project Management of implementation and on-going support services to include: i. Project Plan of tasks, task assignment, task tracking ii. Weekly status updates iii. Issues/Default list and status tracking iv. Oversight of implementation activities/tasks v. Coordination with 3rd party Vendor(s) vi. Project closure
