Specifications include, but are not limited to: The installation of new water mains to replacement of existing water mains in the alley south of Cooper Street from Hawthorne Street to Burns Street and in Bulwer Street from Cooper to Toole Avenue. The new water mains will be a combination of bored and open-trench installations. More specifically, this includes new 4-inch HDPE water main, new 8-inch ductile iron water main, new fire hydrant assemblies, connections to existing mains, installations of new appurtenances, water service connections and swaps, abandonments of existing water mains, surface restoration of disturbed areas including asphalt, concrete, gravel, landscaping, and irrigation, and other miscellaneous work as shown on the project drawings.
